Deliveries, Returns and Terms & Conditions

In General

The use of this site is governed by the policies, terms and conditions set forth below. Please read them carefully. Your use of this site, or the placement of an order, indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Rubys Adorables reserves the right to make changes to this site and these terms and conditions at any time. We reserve the right to add or withdraw items from our range without notice. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Intellectual Property

This site is owned and operated by Rubys Adorables. Unless otherwise specified, all information or materials appearing on this site, including the Rubys Adorables logo, text, site design, graphics, icons, and images, as well as the selection, assembly and arrangement thereof, are the sole property of Rubys Adorables. No materials from this site may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any form or by any means without Rubys Adorables prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. Any unauthorised use of the materials appearing on this site may violate copyright, trademark and other applicable laws and could result in criminal or civil action.

Acceptance of Orders

Rubys Adorables reserves the right, without prior notification, to refuse service to any customer or to require verification of information prior to the acceptance of any order. In the event of a product being listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Rubys Adorables shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. Rubys Adorables shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit or debit card charged. If payment has already been made for the purchase and your order is cancelled Rubys Adorables shall immediately credit the amount of the incorrect price.

Rubys Adorables reserves the right to refuse or cancel immediately any orders placed online where fraud is suspected or a warning has been issued via our payment processing system. In this case, your order and payment will be cancelled and you will receive an email to confirm the action that has been taken.

Availability

All requests are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price by us. Despatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees warranties or representations made as to delivery times are limited to mainland UK and are on the basis that we are not responsible for any delay in delivery occurring due to postal delays or force majeure.

If an item is out of stock, your payment will be refunded and you will be notified of the refund. Crystal Bridal Accessories are absolutely entitled to refuse any request made by you. 

Cancellation Right

Distance selling regulations state that you are legally entitled to be able to cancel your order with us within 7 days receiving the goods. We reserve the right to refuse a cancellation (refund) outside this time frame.

Variation of content

Rubys Adorables shall have the right in its absolute discretion at any time and without notice to amend, remove or vary any of the content supplied in connection with the Service or which appears on any page of the Rubys Adorables website.

Product Descriptions and Prices

Description of goods are those commonly used in the trade and unless otherwise stated refer to imitation products only. All our jewellery is normally non-reactive. We make every effort to provide a clear photograph and detailed written description of all our products including approximate measurements where appropriate. However, please note that 100% accuracy cannot be guaranteed in measurements or photography of our items. Photographs of products may differ to the actual finish especially if items being photographed are naturally reflective and difficult to capture in an image - such as crystal stones. Any image on our website will be subject to variations in user screen resolution, colours etc. which are beyond our control.  

All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. All prices advertised in magazines, newspapers or online wedding directories or resources apply to the price at the time of submitting the item to that publication or website. Rubys Adorables reserves the right to amend (increase or decrease) prices on this website without prior notice.

Product Returns

We accept returns or exchanges for unused items returned in their original condition and packaging within 28 working days of receiving the item. This does not include sale and discontinued lines.

We regret do not accept returns or exchanges for bespoke or special order items, pierced earrings or necklace sets including pierced earrings and bespoke orders made to your specific requirements. 

We will only accept returns if we have been notified within 28 working days of you receiving the product that you wish to obtain a refund or exchange. We require all goods to be returned to us within a total of 28 working days from delivery to you. All returns must include all the original item packaging including any gift boxes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do take extra care of all goods to ensure they remain in the same perfect new condition as despatched, unless you have decided to keep them as failure to do so will be classed as your acceptance of the goods. If any items are returned in used / marked condition, we will return them to you without processing a refund or exchange.

We reserve the right to reject an order if we suspect that a customer is taking advantage of our returns policy. 

If you qualify for a free gift, please note that the free gift must be returned if every item in your order is returned. Your refund will not be processed until the free gift has been returned. If you apply a discount code or other special offer to your order, you will not qualify for the free gift as the free gift offers are not available in conjunction with any other special offer or discount.

Returns Postage

If you are returning an item for refund or exchange, we regret we are unable to refund postage and packing unless the items are found faulty and / or being replaced - in this case we shall cover standard postage costs of returning the items and replace them for you. Should you require a refund only, we are not able to refund the delivery costs, only the value of the unwanted goods that are being returned to us.

If you are exchanging an item, we will send the exchange item within the UK to you FREE of charge. If we process any subsequent changes, this will incur a standard postage charge based on the weight of the item.

We require all returns to be sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or equivalent overseas signed for insured postage service. Please only use Special Delivery if the item value is more than £150. This will ensure that you are compensated should your goods be lost or damaged in transit. If an item is lost in transit as a result of being sent by Standard Royal Mail first or second class post, we will not be able to process a refund for the item.  

Overseas Postage

If your initial order incurred Europe or Overseas Postage and you wish to exchange an item - we will charge an additional postage fee equal to the original postage paid to send the exchange item to you. This will be charged in the form of a Paypal invoice to be paid securely online using a Paypal account or any major credit or debit card. Please allow longer delivery and payment refund times for exchanges or returns being processed from an overseas order.

Please note, we allow up to 28 working days for international returns.

Refund / Exchange Confirmation 

If a returned item has been marked in any way or we find evidence that your item has been worn or used then your return will not be accepted. The item will be posted back to you without a refund being processed.

Any returns or exchanges accepted by Rubys Adorables will be credited via your original method of payment. The credit or difference in amount for an exchanged product will be credited / debited accordingly not including any original postage costs. If you have notified us of your intent to return the item or if your returned item has any originally enclosed parts damaged or missing, this will result in a delay in processing your refund and in certain cases, credit may have to made via postal cheque.

Delivery Terms and Charges 

PLEASE NOTE: We will not accept responsibility for Nominated Delivery and Express Delivery orders which do not arrive on time due to circumstances beyond our control. We will, of course, make every effort to despatch the items within the required timescale. As long as the item is trackable, has been despatched on the date specified and was scheduled for delivery as requested by the customer, Rubys Adorables is under no obligation to send a duplicate item or refund any postage costs.

Your statutory rights are not affected in this case and you (the customer) will still be under obligation to accept the goods when they arrive and use the returns procedure detailed to request a refund if you no longer require the item. Rubys Adorables cannot be held responsible for goods which arrive too late for a scheduled dress fittting, event or wedding day. We recommend that all customers allow adequate time for their order to be delivered.

If an item of mail is undeliverable as a result of an inaccurate address or postcode being provided, this will be returned to Rubys Adorables and we will charge a postage fee to re-send the item. This postage fee will apply even if the parcel was originally sent using a FREE delivery service. If at this point the customer decides to not continue with the order, we will refund the cost of the items but NOT the postage costs even if a FREE delivery service applied.

If a customer has ordered an incorrect item due to selecting the wrong size, colour or quantity on our website, Rubys Adorables will not accept responsibility for this error. This applies if the colour, size or quantity of item despatched to the customer are correct and as detailed on the order confirmation. We will not accept responsibility or refund any return delivery costs in this instance.

Rubys Adorables cannot be held liable for any delivery delays resulting from Royal Mail industrial action, i.e. a strike. However, we do endeavour to send items by Special Delivery if a Royal Mail strike is pending to ensure they will get priority once the strike is over. 

Free Gifts

If you qualify for a free gift, please note that the free gift must be returned if every item in your order is returned. Your refund will not be processed until the free gift has been returned. If you apply a discount code or other special offer to your order, you will not qualify for the FREE gift as the FREE gift offers are not available in conjunction with any other special offer or discount.

Privacy Policy

Rubys Adorables recognises that customers value their privacy and we therefore take our responsibilities to protect it very seriously. Your personal details are not stored on our database for any other purpose apart from processing and despatching your order. Your details will not be forwarded to any third parties or companies without your prior consent.

If you have provided a telephone number, your number will not be used for telesales calls or forward to any third party except a courier company for express or nominated delivery orders. If you have booked a nominated date or express order and your item is being delivered via a courier service, we will need to provide the courier company with your phone number for delivery purposes - by booking an express or nominated date delivery you are allowing us permission to provide the courier company with your telephone number.

Rubys Adorables fully endorses and adheres to the principles of Data Protection as set out in the Data Protection Act 1998.

Payment Methods

Rubys Adorables does not accept responsibility for credit payments made via Worldpay. If you have any queries regarding your Paypal payment please contact Worldpay Help Centre. If you pay via Paypal with an e-cheque, this will take 7-9 working days to clear and your order will not be processed until payment has cleared.

If your payment has been refused when you placed your online order, it is your responsibility to contact your card issuer or account handler to rectify any issues which may have caused the refused payment. If you require any advice or assistance in this matter, you can contact us for further details.

Termination

Rubys Adorables may at any time terminate or suspend any part of the Service without notice to you.

International Orders

European and International orders are subject to higher postage and packaging costs and longer delivery times compared to UK deliveries. Returns, exchanges and refunds will also take longer to process and we will allow for extra time for customers to return an item from overseas. However, items being returned must be sent by a tracked postal service, for example, courier, with appropriate insurance cover as we will not be held liable for any goods lost or damaged in transit.

Customers receiving goods outside the European Union are responsible for any local taxes and / or duties incurred. Any customers rejecting parcels for this reason will receive a refund net of any cost incurred by us in recovering the goods. Overseas customers will also be responsible for any currency conversion fees incurred.

European and International orders are subject to all other terms and conditions detailed on this page. 

UK Law

Please note that use of this site and its Terms and Conditions are governed by UK Law. We have taken every care to explain all terms governing ordering, payment, delivery, refunds/exchanges, ways to contact us, your right to cancel your order, and our privacy policies in accordance with current DTI e-commerce, distance-selling regulations and the Data Protection Act. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions in order to keep in line with any government changes made to these regulations in the future.
